A Large Language Model is an artificial intelligence system trained on vast amounts of text data to understand and generate human-like language. From a cybersecurity perspective, LLMs present both significant opportunities and notable risks. LLMs may inadvertently generate malicious code, reveal sensitive information from their training data, or be used to create sophisticated phishing content and social engineering attacks. Additionally, organizations deploying LLMs must consider data privacy implications, as sensitive information shared with these systems could potentially be exposed or misused.
