Plurilock Receives Two Purchase Orders from U.S. Marshals Service and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA—Plurilock Security Inc. (TSXV: PLUR) (OTCQB: PLCKF) and related subsidiaries (“Plurilock” or the “Company”), an identity-centric cybersecurity solutions provider for workforces, has received a US$133,000 order from the U.S. Marshals Service and a US$193,000 order from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) as part the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Solution for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) program, a U.S. Government-Wide Acquisition Contract Vehicle (GWAC).

The U.S. Marshals Service is a part of the U.S. Department of Justice, serving as the enforcement arm of the federal courts.1 The U.S. DEA is a federal law enforcement agency, tasked with enforcing controlled substances laws and regulations.2 These orders are part of the SEWP V program. All contracts and orders announced by Plurilock since April 2021, including the latest order, represent a combined total of roughly US$12.23 million in sales.

The incidence of cyber attacks against law enforcement agencies is on the rise, underscoring the need for using vendors with extensive experience in cybersecurity and IT support solutions. In April, the D.C. Police Department was hit with a significant ransomware attack, the third law enforcement department in a six-week period, and was the 26th government agency to suffer an attack in 2021.3

According to the purchase order, Plurilock’s Solutions Division will provide hardware maintenance for the two agencies. The orders align with Plurilock’s stated goal of expanding within the government vertical.

About SEWP

The SEWP V program, launched by NASA in 2015, is the leading information technology (IT) contract vehicle, with government agencies spending $7.9 billion in fiscal 2020.4 Estimates anticipate that agencies will utilize SEWP V for $8.8 billion in contracted spending in fiscal 2021.5 The contract vehicle provides Plurilock with the opportunity to access downstream customers in the government sector.
