Advanced Authentication

Advanced Authentication is an authentication strategy that uses real-world identity signals adaptively to provide significantly stronger identity verification for information and system security.

In general, advanced authentication strategies can be conceptually separated from traditional authentication strategies, which often relied only on usernames and passwords, or on other methods of identification, such as security codes or tokens, that can be stolen and resued with relative ease by motivated attackers.
