Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services, or ADFS, is a Microsoft product and related infrastructure used to enable single sign-on capability for Microsoft Active Directory (AD) users.
As one of the most common directory platforms in use, Active Directory is a key part of many corporate indentity and access management (IAM) ecosystems, and ADFS enables identity federation across Active Directory instances and with a variety of other systems.
