ISO 27001
ISO 27001 a standard issued by the International Standards Organization (ISO) to help organizations protect their information assets and enable them to document the methods that they have used to achieve such security.
ISO 27001 certification is voluntary and requires the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of a secure, systematic approach to sensitive information within an organization. The establishment and documentation of this systematic approach, known as an information security management system (ISMS), is the central criterium for ISO 27001 certification.
