Overview: Location Data

Quick Definition

In Plurilock™ products, Location Data is one identity signal among several used for advanced authentication purposes. Location data is available as an ambient data stream on most network-enabled devices today, either through global positioniong system (GPS) sensors or through network-keyed geolocation databases.

Plurilock uses location data as an additional identity signal to augment its behavioral-biometric identity checks, in general by checking for impossible travel scenarios—cases in which the currently reported location of the user is either impossible or highly unlikely in light of other recent reported locations.
