What happens when ADAPT or DEFEND authentication fail?
The actions to be taken in case of an ADAPT or DEFEND authentication failure are configurable.
When Plurilock ADAPT™ fails to confirm the identity of a user, administrators can opt to either reject the login attempt, to request further “step-up” authentication via, for example, a one-time SMS code, or to take other actions as appropriate.
When Plurilock DEFEND™ fails to confirm the identity of a user, administrators can opt to lock workstations immediately and automatically, to combine the rejection with other signals for further decision-making and action in, for example, a SIEM system, to require the user to provide credentials and log in again, or to take other actions as appropriate.
