Work From Home (WFH)
Work from home is a term used to describe employees working in a home setting versus an office setting.
A major catalyst for the WFH was the COVID-19 pandemic, and has been coined as the “new normal”. WFH presents many challenges for IT and security teams, as the employees and endpoints are now outside the usual office perimeter, along with many employees using their own devices. There are also concerns about establishing a compensating control in lieu of the physical security offered in an office setting.
