Identity and Access Management (IAM or IdM)
Identity and Access Management, or IAM, refers to a centralized framework of policies, systems, and software within an organization which ensure that technology resources are readily accessible to, and only accessible to, the right users at the right times.
A sound IAM framework enables a number of enhancements to productivity, security, and convenience, while also providing a reasonable level of identity assurance for auditing and incident attribution.
